We are seeking creative, ambitious and highly motivated Commis Chefs to join our Strathearn Culinary team.

A room with more than a touch of magic, The Strathearn was the original restaurant from the hotel’s opening in 1924. Not much has changed in over a century, with candlelight and live piano music setting the scene for a menu of modern Scottish fine dining fare.

The on target earning potential for this role is £37,674 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £32,674, plus a qualified estimate of £5,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

  • Making sure our operation runs without hitch, orders and deliveries are coming and going as needed, our service is smooth and our food hygiene standards are sky-high
  • You’ll play a key part in ensuring our Pastry kitchen continues to excel in producing the most creative, innovative and inspirational items
  • Bringing delicious, creative and bespoke flavours and creations to our guests’ tables; you’ll become an asset to your team, determined to grab every opportunity and you have a huge appetite to learn from the best in the business
  • Maintaining a can-do and problem-solving attitude with a fantastic eye for the detail and precision
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
