Job summary

Barratt Developments plc is seeking a skilled Commercial professional to manage site costs, budgets and valuations. You will lead cost control, compile cost reports, and oversee subcontractor procurement to ensure value and quality across projects.

The role requires strong numeracy, knowledge of building regulations and NHBC standards, and a CSCS card, with hybrid working across sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card.
• Strong numeracy with ability to interpret data for budgets and valuations.
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, HSE, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control procedures within Group policies.
• Compile and present weekly, monthly and quarterly cost reports.
• Manage budget and valuations; update estimated final costs.
• Lead cost control and value engineering to achieve best value.
• Prepare tenders and procure subcontractors, goods, and materials.
