Job summary

Barratt Redrow PLC is seeking a commercially focused professional to manage site cost control, budgeting and valuations on a busy development. You will coordinate with sub-contractors, procurement and commercial teams to ensure projects stay within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager, you will handle cost reporting, tenders and value engineering, while ensuring compliance with NHBC and Building Regulations across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site costs and budgets, and producing valuations.
• Ability to update estimated final costs and reconcile costs and values.
• Knowledge of NHBC, Building Regulations and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control procedures and report weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• Prepare tenders and procure subcontractors and materials.
• Lead value engineering to achieve best value within budget.
• Compile site start budgets and liaise with departments for on-time delivery.
• Present the commercial position at project meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Group IT systems and procedures.
