Overview

Commercial Manager (Rail / Heavy Civils) – Permanent, located in London (West Ruislip or North Acton). Hybrid role: minimum 3 days in office; 2 days work‑from‑home. Salary £60,000 – £76,000, depending on experience, with development, training and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Manager responsible for managing contracts and commercial agreements, dispute resolution and negotiation.
• Cost control for a large asset within the project, ensuring value for money and that disputes are resolved correctly.
• Administer a multi‑billion‑pound NEC contract on the UK's largest ever infrastructure project.
• Lead change management and contract administration for heavy civil projects.
• Support progression to senior commercial roles with a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Qualified Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with experience on large infrastructure projects (rail, highways, etc.).
• Experience of NEC contract administration, negotiation and dispute resolution.
