A leading utilities contractor is looking for a Commercial Manager to lead a small commercial team in Birmingham. The main objective of the role is to deliver the initial pre-construction activities and subsequent day-to-day commercial management requirements of a major national power infrastructure upgrade project.

You will be delivering a major project which, over the next 10 years, will be upgrading the UK's national energy infrastructure and capabilities.
In this newly created role, you will be managing and developing a high calibre team and be delivering significant results for the client.
Responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of power infrastructure upgrade works nationally under NEC4 forms of contract.
Projects range from the construction or maintenance of substations, to the upgrade, rerouting, or new construction of overhead line networks.
Leading a small commercial team, providing them with mentorship and driving their performance whilst working collaboratively with other delivery partners.
You will be interfacing upstream to the client and senior stakeholders internally, as well as downstream to operational teams day-to-day, driving and reporting on contract performance.

Minimum of 10 years\' commercial experience supporting the delivery of infrastructure or general civil engineering frameworks or projects.
Proven ability to lead small commercial teams, and also build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
