Commercial Litigation Partner – Leeds

We are a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a market-leading dispute resolution practice. As part of our continued strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join our team in Leeds, strengthening our presence in the Yorkshire legal market.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior lawyer looking for autonomy, influence, and the support of a firm with strong infrastructure, national reach, and a collaborative culture.

The Role

As Commercial Litigation Partner, you will:

• Lead on all aspects of commercial litigation, handling complex and high-value disputes including contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, commercial fraud, business torts, and insolvency-related litigation
• Provide strategic, commercially driven advice to a diverse client base including SMEs, PLCs, institutional clients, and international businesses
• Drive business development and expand the firm’s litigation offering across Leeds, Yorkshire, and beyond
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on risk and dispute strategy
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers, contributing to the growth and success of the team
• Work flexibly, supported by a hybrid working model and home working allowance

About You

You will be:

• A qualified solicitor with significant commercial litigation experience at Partner level
• Proven in managing complex commercial disputes with strong commercial judgement
• Client-focused, ambitious, and motivated to grow a team and practice offering
• A strong communicator with business development capability
• Ideally with an established network and/or client following (desirable, not essential)

Salary
