A prominent offshore law firm in the UK is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate. The ideal candidate will be an admitted Solicitor or Barrister with 1-4 years' PQE in complex commercial disputes. This role offers the chance to work closely with senior colleagues and take on significant responsibilities in an international setting. Compensation includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
This large offshore law firm has a reputation for advising its client base on some of the largest and most complex litigation in the market. The practice spans broad commercial disputes, banking litigation and contentious financial services work, always international, with a significant flow of instructions from the Asian markets.
Joining as a junior to mid-level Associate, you will work closely with senior colleagues, but you will also have plenty of scope for taking on responsibility. It is an ideal environment for someone who relishes the opportunity to get ‘hands‑on’ and who enjoys the client‑facing side of legal work.
For some, the BVI is the pick of the Caribbean. A mountainous, rainforest‑covered interior surrounded by picture‑postcard bays, it is probably not far from the idyllic image that might cross your mind when you ponder whether there is ‘more to life’. It’s not for everyone. You will need to be comfortable with a slower pace, you will see its remoteness as a gift rather than an inconvenience, and you will be the sort of person who gets more out of sailing, diving, or relaxing on the beach than you do from the buzz of city life. If that’s you, you will love it here. Not to mention that the work, much of it emanating out of Asia, is some of the most interesting and challenging in the sector.
Our team has 25 years’ experience of helping lawyers to make international and offshore moves. If you would like to find out more about this role or chat about an overseas move in general, please get in touch.
