Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced broker who enjoys retaining business, identifying cross‑selling opportunities and contributing to sustainable revenue growth to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a loyal client base, providing trusted insurance advice while building long‑term commercial relationships.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing professional insurance advice and customer service, face‑to‑face and by telephone.
  • Managing quotations, adjustments and renewals across standard personal insurance products.
  • Maintaining and retaining existing client relationships.
  • Processing insurance documentation accurately and in line with internal procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross‑sell insurance products where appropriate.
  • Supporting the team leader with workflow and departmental matters.
  • Developing new client relationships to support business growth.
  • Maintaining CPD and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience within insurance broking, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach. They will be well organised, accurate and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. A willingness to study towards Cert CII is expected, alongside good IT skills and an understanding of regulatory requirements.
