Overview

Exciting new position for a Commercial Contracts Manager for a public sector body in Buckinghamshire. The role is office based 2 days a week. If you hold a minimum level 6 qualification or degree, preferably in estimating or quantity surveying and are looking for your next exciting position, then read on! The Commercial Contracts Manager role requires someone who is commercial astute, data driven, and is required to manage all external contracts and supply chains across the business, ensuring all contracts adhere to contractual performance and quality of service.

Commercial Contracts Manager duties
  • Oversee all procurement, mobilisation, and contract management to deliver efficient and effective outcomes
  • Ensure all our suppliers are performing in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Tracking and analysing business performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and achieve strategic goals
  • Set KPIs, monitor progress and implement corrective actions
To succeed in this role, you need
  • Strong commercial leadership will be essential to ensure procurement, mobilisation, and contract management are delivered to the highest standards
  • Experience effectively managing budgets and controlling costs to ensure financial sustainability and project success
  • Planning, executing, and closing projects successfully within scope, time, and budget
  • Manage procurement processes and commercial relationships to secure the best value for the organisation
