A local government office in the West Midlands is looking for a skilled Commercial Contracts Lawyer for an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will possess experience in providing legal advice on contractual matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, and working on procurement tasks. Sellick Partnership is recruiting to a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a small and friendly team in a local authority within the West Midlands. The role is initially for 3 months, pending permanent recruitment, however, there is a possibility for this to be extended.
The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will have previous local authority experience undertaking a range of commercial matters. Day to day responsibilities of the Commercial Contracts Lawyer will include:
Previous public sector experience is desirable, although experience gained from Private Practice or other sectors can still be considered.
