Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage your own portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring effective retention and growth.
  • Handle renewals, MTAs, and claims, maintaining a renewal retention rate above 90%.
  • Underwrite risks and prepare market presentations for insurer submission.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cross-selling and referrals.
  • Promote additional business services such as Employee Benefits, Risk Management, and Financial Solutions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, acting as the main point of contact for technical queries.
  • Ensure accurate system updates and compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.
  • Contribute to team development by sharing best practices and supporting continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in commercial broking is essential.
  • Strong technical understanding of commercial insurance products.
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Working knowledge of FCA compliance and insurance processes.
  • CII-qualified or keen to work towards qualification.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable to change.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
