A local heritage organization in Greater London is seeking two Collection Review Managers to manage and catalogue the Museum Collection. This role involves developing a new Collections Policy, ensuring comprehensive cataloguing, and assessing options for collection relocation or redistribution. Candidates should have professional qualifications in Museum and Collection Management, with strong communication and project management skills. This role is part of an 18-month project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
We are seeking 2 Collection Review Managers to fully understand and catalogue the Museum Collection for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This will include the development of a new Collections Policy, identifying key aspects of the collection that are relevant to the policy and ensuring it is fully catalogued. They will then assess the options of deaccessioning, relocations or redistributions. This is an 18-month project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF). They will report to a project manager and be supported by the existing team and volunteers at the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust, who manage the Collection.
