Job summary

Santander UK in Colchester is seeking a Customer Experience Advisor to join our Retail Banking team. You will work 35 hours per week on a rota from Monday to Saturday, 8am–6pm, helping customers with transactions, tech guidance, and service queries. You’ll listen, solve problems and support a multi-skilled, branch-based environment.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values initiative, adaptability, and a proactive approach to risk and customer care.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service either from a face to face or a telephony background.
• The ability to communicate effectively with customers to truly understand their needs.
• Openness to a broad range of activities and a flexible, can-do approach.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for customers in branch or over the phone.
• Assisting with day-to-day transactions, queries and servicing; answering calls.
• Building relationships and finding solutions for customer needs.
• Developing knowledge of services and products to support customers.
• Identifying new ways to improve the customer experience.
