CNC Turner Programmer/Setter

Location: Leeds

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (depending on experience and shift)

Shifts: Permanent Mornings or Permanent Back Shift (4-day week on back shift)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We're supporting a long-established precision engineering business in Leeds as they look to add an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter to their team. This is a stable, well-equipped machine shop with modern CNC machines and a strong order book, offering long-term progression and a choice of shifts to suit your lifestyle.

The Role
  • Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes (experience with Fanuc controls is required)
  • Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Performing in-process inspection to maintain quality standards
  • Working collaboratively with production, engineering and quality teams
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work area

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
