Overview

CNC Turner Machinist - Evening Shift

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £36,972 (£18 per hour) with additional shift allowance (based on a 39.5-hour week)

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, starting at 3:00 PM and finishing at 1:30 AM | Thursday finish at 1:00 AM

Additional: uplift for hours worked after 7:00 PM

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Turner/Setter, you'll play a key role in producing high-specification, small-to-medium batch components for aerospace clients. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact quality and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Turning machines (Fanuc controls) to tight aerospace tolerances
• Work with premium materials: Stainless Steel, Titanium, Inconel, Aluminium, Nylon
• Accurately record job timings in the ERP system
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization (6S)
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Apprenticeship trained or qualified by experience
