Job summary

A reputable manufacturing company in Ashford is seeking an experienced CNC Router & Laser Operator to join their production team. Job description

CNC Router & Laser Operator

Location: Ashford

We are looking for an experienced CNC Router & Fibre Laser Operator to join a growing production team within a specialist manufacturing environment. The role focuses on producing accurate, high-quality products using a range of CNC machinery.

What you’ll do:
  • Set up and operate a 3-axis CNC router, fibre laser and other laser/waterjet equipment
  • Work with materials such as aluminium, steel, acrylic, foam PVC and composites
  • Use software including V Carve, CYP Cut, Smart Carve 5 and SignLAB
  • Read technical drawings, prepare materials and ensure components are finished to a high standard
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance and help maintain a clean and safe workspace
What we need:
  • Experience using CNC routers and fibre lasers
  • Ability to read and follow production drawings
  • Good practical and problem‑solving skills, with a strong eye for detail
  • Someone proactive, safety‑aware and able to work both independently and within a team
