Job summary

A leading structural steel manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a permanent day-shift role in South Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will operate CNC machinery for steel processing, set up tooling, and ensure quality and accuracy in production output. Candidates should have relevant CNC operating experience and the ability to handle large sections safely. Overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• CNC operating experience within steel, fabrication or similar heavy engineering.
• Ability to read basic measurements and carry out accuracy checks.
• Strong housekeeping standards and awareness of safe working.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machinery used for structural steel processing.
• Setting up tooling and checking its fit for purpose.
• Completing job records through in-house tracking systems.
