Job summary

A recruitment company is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join their established engineering team in Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will operate CNC machines, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring quality checks on production. A minimum of 2 years CNC operating experience is required, along with the ability to interpret engineering drawings. CNC OPERATOR

Southend-On-Sea, Essex

Permanent position / Full time - 6:45am - 4:30pm Mon - Thurs

Job Role:

We are working with an established Engineering company who are looking to grow their team internally with new contracts and workload increase and require an experienced CNC Operator.

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Maintain accurate records of production data and machine settings.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Skills and Knowledge.

• Basic editing / Basic maths required in order to do this job daily.
• Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written.

Person Specification:

• Able to commute within or to Southend-On-Sea.
• CNC operating experience is a must! (min. 2 years experienced required).
• Set and Run Machines with Fanuc and Seiki controls.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience of working in the Automotive / Aerospace or Defence Industries is desirable.
