An established precision engineering business supplying complex, small-batch components to high-performance automotive and motorsport sectors is seeking a CNC Milling Shift Supervisor to lead a skilled team on a rotating shift pattern. This is a hands‑on leadership role for an experienced CNC Miller with proven 5‑axis machining capability and the ability to coach and guide others in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment.

The Role

As a key member of the manufacturing team, you’ll oversee CNC milling operations, ensuring output, quality and delivery targets are consistently achieved. You’ll provide day‑to‑day supervision of machinists, support production planning, and take an active role in problem‑solving, training and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set and operate a range of CNC milling machines producing precision components to tight tolerances.
  • Lead, support and mentor a small team of machinists, maintaining high quality and productivity.
  • Allocate work, manage shift handovers, and assist in resolving production or tooling issues.
  • Uphold Health & Safety and Quality Management procedures while driving continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
  • Time‑served Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering background.

Strong CNC Milling experience and demonstrated 5‑axis machining capability.
