Job summary

A leading precision engineering manufacturer based in Poole is seeking a skilled CNC Miller/CNC Turner Setter/Operator. The successful candidate will set and operate CNC lathe machines with FANUC controls to produce high-quality components. Requirements include a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and strong experience with CNC machines. This is a full-time, fully onsite role, offering a competitive salary package including holidays and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with CNC Mill/Turn machines.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with Nakamura machines is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathe machines with FANUC controls.
• Produce turned components to specifications.
• Inspect work to meet drawing specifications.
• Support production flexibly as needed.
