CNC Millers OR Turners - Nights (Programmer / Setter / Operator)

Location: Wakefield

Shift: Nights - Monday to Thursday, 6pm-6am

Shift Premium: £20ph with 25% night rate uplift

Overview of the CNC Machinist Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Haas machining centres to produce precision components to tight tolerances. This is a varied, engaging role working across a range of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist

• Programming, setting & operating HAAS 3-axis vertical machining centres
• Producing precision components to drawing tolerances
• Using relevant inspection & measurement equipment

Key Skills & Experience of the CNC Machinist

• Confident and competent programming, setting & operating Haas milling machines
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Skilled in the use of inspection and measurement tools
• 4th & 5th axis experience advantageous
• City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline desirable
