About the Job

We’re looking to hire a CNC Laser Machine Setter Operator to join the day shift as the company grows. If you have experience setting and operating CNC laser cutting equipment or similar machinery in an engineering environment, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
• Producing precision engineered component parts
• Setting and operating CNC tool grinding machines (once trained)
• Setting and operating a press brake (once trained)
• Checking the accuracy of your work against engineering drawings
• Keeping your area clean and tidy

Additional Duties

Reporting to your new manager, you will produce precision engineered component parts mostly made from aluminium and stainless steel. You will join an already well‑established and supportive team where you will be welcomed and given all the support you need to settle in and get up to speed.

Job Title: CNC Laser Machine Setter Operator
Location: Tewkesbury
Working hours: 39 hours per week, day shift with lunchtime finish on Fridays
Salary: £14.75 – £16.00 per hour (competitive), with overtime available
Contract type: Permanent
Commute: Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Twinning, Bishops Cleeve, Evesham, Worcester and surrounding areas
