Job description

Established manufacturing organisation seeks experienced CMM Inspector for immediate start. Permanent Contract offered, day shifts available and competitive rate of pay. An exciting opportunity to join a highly professional team working within a productive, forward-thinking environment.

As CMM Inspector, you would be responsible for CMM inspection for components supplied into aerospace, automotive and defence sectors. Reporting to Process Leader, the role of CMM Inspector would suit a hardworking individual with a Quality background, displaying commitment, high attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

Duties of CMM Inspector:

  • Perform CMM Inspection
  • Operate CMM equipment
  • Manually measure parts using conventional equipment verniers, micrometres, gauges, callipers etc.
  • Document quality issues and report non-conformances
  • Compile detailed inspection reports
  • Comply with standards of safety, company policy that apply to the product
  • Adhere to health and safety standards as set out by the company

Skills and experience required by successful candidate for the role of CMM Inspector:

  • Previous experience within a similar role as CMM Inspector within a manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment
  • CMM Programming
  • IT Proficiency - Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of FAIRS
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work efficiently alone or within a team

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire

Hours of work: Day Shift

Pay Rate: GBP14 per hour

Contract: Permanent
