JD Gyms in Huddersfield is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the club. You will work closely with the General Manager to uphold high operational standards, develop colleagues, and drive membership and commercial performance.

• Experience leading and developing colleagues within a leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused environment.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellent member service and leading by example.

• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard across the club.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report defects to keep facilities safe.
• Recruit and manage Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to cover daily operations.
• Hold regular team meetings to develop staff and share updates.
• Support achievement of membership, revenue and commercial targets.
• Drive secondary spend revenue and maximise profitability.
• Ensure cleanliness and high facility standards are maintained.
