JD Gyms in Leeds is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the club and help drive member experience.

You will work closely with the General Manager, lead a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants, ensure safety and cleanliness, and contribute to membership growth and commercial targets. The role focuses on coaching, performance, and delivering exceptional service.

• Experience leading and developing colleagues in leisure, fitness, hospitality or customer-focused environments.

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report defects.
• Recruit and manage Fitness Coaches and General Assistants.
• Hold regular team meetings and drive development.
• Support achievement of membership, revenue and commercial targets.
• Drive secondary spending revenue.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across the facility.
• Oversee weekly banking and minimize wastage.
