Job summary

JD Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the daily operation of the club and work closely with the General Manager to uphold high standards and deliver exceptional member experiences.

You will lead Fitness Coaches and General Assistants, drive membership growth and revenue, coach colleagues, and ensure safe, clean, and welcoming facilities for all members and staff.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management in leisure, fitness, or customer-facing settings.
• Commitment to delivering excellent member service.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and teams.
• Must hold Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day club operations alongside the General Manager.
• Lead and manage Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to cover daily shifts.
• Deliver outstanding member service and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Support membership growth, revenue, and commercial targets.
