Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent - Hybrid

Start Date : ASAP

We’re looking for a Cloud Integration Engineer to join our Business Technology Group and lead the development of seamless integrations, smart automation, and AI capabilities across the business here at Avove Utilities.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, building and maintaining integrations across key cloud platforms, including HR, Commercial and Operational systems, using Microsoft Azure and Entra ID services.
  • Developing secure, scalable APIs and middleware to enable reliable data flow and interoperability.
  • Creating automation scripts and workflows that reduce manual processing and improve operational efficiency.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to digitise workflows, connect tools, and improve data accessibility.
  • Building and deploying bespoke AI agents and solutions to enhance productivity and insights.
  • Administering the Microsoft Azure environment, including implementing security policies, monitoring system health and managing configurations.
  • Supporting security risk assessments of new SaaS applications and add-ons.
  • Acting as the technical owner for cloud integrations—providing support, troubleshooting and updates.
About you
  • Hands-on experience integrating cloud platforms (especially Azure) with SaaS applications
  • Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and system integration principles
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or similar scripting language
  • Knowledge of secure coding, version control and Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Exposure to AI / ML platforms such as Azure ML or OpenAI APIs
