Job description
Lead a Team. Shape a Clinic. Spark Big Ideas.

Hey there! If you’re a vet who is excited by the idea of guiding a whole clinical team, sees change as an adventure, and gets a buzz from turning good ideas into great realities, you might have just found your next move.

We’re searching for a Clinical Principal who’s ready to step into a role that blends clinical excellence, team leadership, and a healthy dose of creative thinking. Someone who wants to help shape a practice where innovation isn’t just a slogan, it’s the way we work.

What You’ll Be Up To
  • Steer a talented clinical team and help them shine
  • Guide vets, nurses, and everyone in between with honest conversations
  • Team up with our Clinical Director to shape clinical standards and bring fresh approaches into the practice
  • Join forces with the operational team so the clinical side and the day to day flow like a well trained Labrador
  • Dive into case discussions when your team needs another brain – your team will cover a range of experience levels, you don’t need to cover everything (bonus points if you have or want to do an imaging or medicine certificate)
  • Spot problems early and sort them with calm, collaboration, and clarity
  • Play a key part in growing great people and see your own ideas become reality
  • Chat with clients when they need reassurance and a friendly expert – our health plan features unlimited consults and our clients do come back
  • Bring new technology, techniques, and clever ideas into the clinic
  • Work with finance and leadership to grow your business and leadership skills – to shape budgets and ways of working that support brilliant care and a thriving team
What We Bring to the Table
  • A practice that’s changing, improving, and genuinely wants your ideas
  • A leadership team that welcomes experimentation and loves curious minds
  • Support for your professional and leadership development
  • A workplace that looks after people as much as pets
  • Flexibility that respects real life
  • A team that collaborates, celebrates, and faces challenges together
You’ll Fit Right In If You…
  • Get a spark of excitement when someone says “what if we tried this instead” Have high clinical standards and continue to improve them
  • Find joy in making things fall into place
  • Love leading with kindness, clarity, and a little humour
  • Stay steady when the unexpected happens
  • Enjoy collaborating and building teams that lift each other up
  • Want a role where you can influence culture and help shape a practice
  • Care deeply about the animals, the clients, and the people you work with
