Clinical Lead - POA

Salary : Up to 44000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)

Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join their team of staff in the Pre Assessment department.

This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include :
  • Lead and coordinate the daily clinical operations of your department ensuring appropriate skill mix safe staffing levels and effective patient care.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff allocating duties based on patient need competency and development goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation professional standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC HIS HIW).
  • Provide visible leadership support and clinical supervision for all nursing staff.
  • Work with leadership to manage departmental budgets ensuring cost-effective staffing and use of resources.
  • Act as a patient advocate supporting patient-centred care and addressing concerns or complaints swiftly and effectively.
Applicants should meet the following criteria :
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in a senior nursing or supervisory leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication mentorship and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to lead manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and competency in advanced nursing practice.
  • Previous experience in POA would be an advantage
