A health department in Tasmania is seeking an Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead (Education and Support) to coordinate student placements and enhance clinical skills in a multidisciplinary environment. This part-time role requires an experienced occupational therapist with strong leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will ensure competent service delivery while contributing to workforce development in Launceston. The Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead (Education and Support) at Launceston General Hospital works in collaboration with Allied Health leadership and other multi‑disciplinary educator roles to promote a positive learning culture; co‑ordinating and managing pre‑entry student placements; and contributing significantly to the development of a highly skilled, satisfied and sustainable workforce.
This role is responsible for working with students, their supervisors, and early‑career graduate OTs to build capability, competence and confidence in occupational therapy practice, ensuring safe and effective provision of OT clinical services.

Permanent part time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing 1 March 2026.
We might also use this selection process to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies over the next 12 months.
$123,717 to $134,336 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
