Please note that this vacancy may be withdrawn at any time should it be filled via the internal redeployment process, this post has arisen to cover the increased workload on the haematology in‑patient ward, day case unit, and outpatient clinics. The successful candidate will assist consultant staff in managing haematology in‑patients and participate in the management of day‑case patients at Nevill Hall and Royal Gwent Hospital's haematology day units. The post holder will gain experience in sub‑specialised clinical services in myeloid, lymphoid, myeloma, and coagulation teams, and will be taught how to perform bone marrow aspirate and trephine biopsies. There is an on‑call component attached to this post.
