Job description
Overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Children & Young People’s Mental Health Team. This post is based at Shawbrook House in Leyland. The post is full time (37.5 hours) however we would consider 2 x part time (22.5 hours) working Monday - Friday. This is a permanent post within the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join a community based mental health service and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This team includes psychological therapists, nurses, support time and recovery workers, social workers, occupational therapists and psychiatrists.

Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient administrative support with excellent IT, keyboard and data inputting skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to organise workload effectively.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal communication with a wide range of people, including patients and health care professionals.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team in a community-based mental health service setting.
Organisation

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
