Overview

Client Services Manager Birmingham – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

The Role

The Client Services team plays a vital role in coordinating responses to complex and high-profile client surveys, RFIs, audits and ESG-related requests. These exercises require close collaboration with stakeholders across the firm, ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality responses that reflect the firm’s values and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing two Client Services Coordinators, providing oversight, guidance and quality assurance of their work.
  • Handling complex or sensitive client survey requests directly.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts across the firm to collate information and craft compelling, client-ready responses.
  • Producing monthly MI reports for senior leadership.
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing processes, templates and guidance to support efficiency and consistency.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and managing escalations where required.
About You

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment (essential).
  • A background in Marketing & Business Development, with the ability to draft polished and persuasive copy.
  • Proven team management experience, ideally leading a small team.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy and influencing skills.
  • A proactive and pragmatic approach, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
The Offer
  • Contract: 12 months maternity cover.
  • Location: Birmingham, with hybrid working (approx. 60% office / 40% home).
  • Hours: 35 per week, with flexible/agile working available.
  • Start date: Immediate availability preferred (maternity cover commencing late October).
