Your Role

Invesco is looking for a Client Portfolio Manager Fixed Income to join our Business Strategy & Development team in London! This is not just a role—it's a bridge between our clients and our investment team. You'll be the voice that translates complex portfolio strategies into clear, compelling narratives for institutional and retail clients, consultants and internal stakeholders. Your insights will help clients understand the why behind our decisions—past and present—covering portfolio positioning, performance attribution, risk characteristics and market outlook.

You'll stay ahead of market trends, know the competitive landscape inside out and articulate what makes our solutions stand out. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted position that demands exceptional communication skills, strong analytical ability and a natural talent for building relationships. You'll support the Global Multi‑Sector team within Invesco Fixed Income which manages multi‑sector, multi‑currency global fixed‑income solutions for clients worldwide, including central banks, pension funds and individual investors.

Your Responsibilities

Investment Expertise

  • Develop deep knowledge of our investment philosophy, process and strategies.
  • Participate in internal investment meetings including macroeconomic analysis and CIO portfolio reviews.

Business Development

  • Represent the investment team to clients and prospects, driving growth and retention.
  • Lead institutional and sub‑advisory opportunities, support RFP/RFI processes and deliver impactful final presentations.
  • Provide exceptional client service through portfolio updates, insights and committee meetings.

Thought Leadership

  • Create research presentations and position papers that showcase our expertise.
  • Speak at industry conferences, roundtables and Invesco events to amplify our voice in the market.

Distribution & Marketing Support

  • Partner with distribution teams to execute effective sales strategies.
  • Support marketing efforts with compelling content proposals and client training.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in product data and messaging across all channels.
What you can bring
  • Significant experience in investment management with strong fixed‑income expertise.
  • In‑depth understanding of portfolio management processes and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong writing and presentation abilities.
  • CFA or IMC qualification required; proficiency in a European language is a plus.
