Skipton Building Society in Malton is seeking a Customer Consultant to join our branch team on a permanent basis. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, aligned with branch operating hours, delivering friendly, face-to-face and telephone service.

You will help customers explore savings products, listen to their goals, and provide clear, helpful guidance while ensuring accurate records and a supportive service in line with our mutual values and community focus.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers.
• Bank or building society experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with customers in-branch and over the phone.
• Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Proactively reach out to customers to discuss support.
• Adhere to policies and participate in training.
