Job summary

SBS Skipton Building Society is recruiting a Customer Consultant for its Malton branch. You will engage customers to understand their needs and present our savings products, delivering a friendly, knowledgeable service that supports customers in achieving their financial goals.

You’ll be part of a branch team that combines in-branch, telephone and online interactions, focusing on providing a seamless experience and building lasting relationships with customers and the community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience interacting with customers.
• Experience in a contact centre environment is desirable.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes and handle busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with customers in-branch and by phone.
• Understand customer needs and offer tailored savings products.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Proactively reach out to customers to offer support and solutions.
• Adhere to policies and procedures with training and coaching.
