Client Administrator — Investment Management
What will you be doing?

We’re seeking an ambitious individual to join our Investment Management team in Birmingham on a fixed term contract (6months) with potential of being extended. You will be responsible for providing full administrative support to Investment Managers, as well as building relationships with clients to deliver a positive and sleek client experience.

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.

As a Client Administrator, your responsibilities will include among others:
  • To work closely with the aligned Investment Managers and Associate Investment Managers, to deliver excellent client outcomes
  • To build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact
  • Liaise with operational teams where support is provided on activities. e.g., Account opening, ISAs, transfers, client payments, static data changes, where applicable
  • Preparation of meeting packs and valuations as required
  • Assist investment managers in the preparation of new business pitches and presentations, where applicable
  • Maintain back-office systems and client records in line with the company policies
Qualifications
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should
  • Prior experience within Financial Planning/ Wealth Management supporting Advisors/ Investment Managers through daily actions
  • Experience of preparing meeting packs, supporting in pitches, operational processes – onboarding, transfers
  • Experience using XPlan
  • A strong client service ethic
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • The ability to fully plan workload and display excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to use judgement and reasoning to propose solutions to problems
