Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised Band 2 Clerical Officer to join our Community Administration Team in Anglesey. We have a part-time Band 2 Clerical Officer role to support the Amlwch/Benllech District Nursing Team. The post holder will be an excellent communicator who is familiar with a full range of clerical tasks and be able to undertake specific duties when necessary. Experience of working in a busy office environment and a good standard of typing and IT skills are essential. The post holder must have the ability to work using their own initiative as well as part of a team, and have a commitment to providing quality administrative support to the District Nursing Service.

Main duties of the job: To provide and organise a comprehensive high level, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative service to the Community Nursing Team and assist in the smooth running of the service. The post holder deals with highly sensitive and confidential issues relating to issues affecting the clients and their families. As a member of the Administration Team, a flexible approach to the post is essential to enable prioritising the different workloads and duties. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to carry out duties with tact, diplomacy and sensitivity. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
