Overview

Cleaning Technician - Hereford

Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining clean and safe environments? We're looking for a Cleaning Technician to join our client's Estates and Services Team in Hereford.

Key Details

• Location: Hereford
• Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: £12.94 per hour (weekly pay)
• Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
  • 30-minute break daily
  • 37 paid hours per week
• Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external communal areas
• Carry out cleaning duties including litter removal, graffiti cleaning, and block inspections
• Use various cleaning methods: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, buffing, and more
• Conduct compliance checks (e.g. fire alarms, emergency lights)
• Report repairs and hazards
• Clean offices, sheltered housing, and communal spaces
• Drive a company van when required

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience
• Ability to meet cleaning standards and follow instructions
• Basic Health & Safety knowledge in a cleaning environment
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in unpleasant conditions
• Basic DBS check required
