Overview

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, cleaning accommodation blocks, maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Hours and Contract
Shifts run Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 16:00, Fri 08:00 - 15:30. Hours of work: 37 per week. Contract: Permanent. Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS.

Responsibilities

• Looking after the camps’ general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose.
• Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions and shower blocks.
• Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• General building maintenance.
• Stock management tasks.
• Completing all relevant documentation using both IT and paper‑based systems.
• Carrying out any other additional requirements as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to complete documentation.
• Basic IT skills, including ability to use a tablet.
• Driving licence preferred as some travel across Salisbury Plain may be required.
