School Cleaner

Requirement: Must have an Enhanced DBS on the updated service or be willing to pay for one.

At Provide Education & Teachers UK, we are dedicated to connecting educational professionals with schools that prioritise creating outstanding learning environments. We are currently seeking Cleaners to work at a partnered SEN school in the Mansfield area on a temporary ongoing supply basis.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, corridors, and other school areas.
  • Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and hoovering floors as required.
  • Clean and disinfect washrooms and replenish supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper).
  • Ensure toilet facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Empty waste bins and recyclable materials.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents.
  • Assist with periodic cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of carpets and floor polishing.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a school or commercial environment, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexible working hours, full time / part time hours available.
Typical Working Hours
  • Monday - Friday 5:30am - 08:30am
  • Monday - Friday 15:30pm - 17:30pm
