HOURS: 15 hours per week (Term time plus 3 weeks)

SALARY: (GRADE 2/SCP 2/FTE £24,413/PRO-RATA £8,987)

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team at Upton Junior School, part of Hamwic Education Trust (HET).

HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 37 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 34 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.

Upton Junior School, awarded ‘Good’ by Ofsted is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual with high standards of cleaning to join our friendly cleaning team. Candidates will strive to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained throughout the school on a daily basis. Job/Person Summary

Upton Junior School is looking to appoint a cleaner working three hours per day, Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic person who has high standards and takes pride in their work, thereby ensuring our children have a clean, safe school in which to learn.

The post holder will be required to ensure that school premises are kept in a clean and hygienic condition, working as part of a team under the direction of the Site Manager. Experience would be an advantage; however, thorough training will be provided.
