Job summary

A local staffing agency is seeking an experienced Cleaner to join a well-respected school in Stourport-on-Severn. The role involves daily cleaning tasks, maintaining hygiene standards, and requires an Enhanced DBS certificate. Ideal candidates will have previous cleaning experience and the ability to work independently. This position offers Monday to Friday hours from 3:30pm to 6pm, with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS certificate - essential (must be in date).
• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school or similar environment.
• Availability to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and offices.
• Empty bins, mop floors, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise washrooms and restock supplies.

The duties of a Cleaner:

• Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Empty bins, mop floors, and wipe down surfaces to maintain hygiene standards
• Clean and sanitise washrooms and restock supplies
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Work effectively as part of a team and take direction from site supervisors

The requirements of a Cleaner:

• Enhanced DBS certificate - essential (must be in date)
• Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school or similar environment
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Punctual and able to work independently
• Availability to start immediately

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple sites should they like additional work.
