Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.27

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 40
Location: Pladis, Hillbottom Road, Sands Industrial Estate, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, HP12 4HJ

In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

The below tasks are to be completed as part of the role, these duties include both cleaning responsibilities and providing essential support to the onsite team.

Meeting Rooms
  • Each morning, ensure all meeting rooms are clean and tidy, with chairs neatly arranged.
  • London Room: Clean the water tray and ensure cups are available.
  • Check and restock coffee machine ingredients.
Coffee Machines
  • Maintain cleanliness of the coffee machine, including the milk container (rinse as per instructions).
  • Refill milk, restock cups and ingredients.
  • Perform a full system clean weekly.
Breakfast Duties
  • Monday: Receive and store breakfast delivery.
  • Daily: Prepare breakfast, clean kitchen area, wash and store dishes, and lock the fridge.
  • Friday: Create a list of breakfast items needed for the following week.
  • Monday & Wednesday: Collect and display fresh fruit.
Car Park & External Areas
  • Conduct litter collection in: Reception area, Front and rear car parks and Surrounding building areas.
Kitchen Areas (Breakout & Offices)
  • Load and unload dishwashers.
  • Clean fridge spills and tidy work surfaces.
  • Remove food samples.
  • Monitor and restock coffee, tea, and sugar supplies.
Office Areas & Toilets
  • Check and replenish printer paper (2 ground floor, 1 first floor).
  • Ground floor shredder (empty and replace bag if full).
  • Hand towels and feminine products in toilets.
  • Cleaning supplies (e.g., washing-up liquid, hand soap, blue rolls).
  • Post breakfast and lunch toilet refresh.
  • Monitor green product waste boxes (3 total) and relocate to second floor when full.
  • Empty mezzanine ingredients bin when full.
  • Remove cardboard from around site and in full bins.
Visitors
  • Provide PPE and manage meeting lunch deliveries and collections.
  • Put away PPE and tidy safety shoe racks.
Deliveries
  • Sort incoming parcels and place them in the correct mezzanine areas.
  • Coordinate movement of large ingredient deliveries to storage.
  • Keep mezzanine area tidy and notify recipients for parcel collection.
Laundry
  • Remove coats from pegs and place in laundry locker (only one coat per person should remain).
  • Thursday: Replace dirty mats with clean ones and place used mats near reception for Friday collection.
  • Friday: Distribute clean coats to individual lockers.
Ingredient Store & Outdoor Fridge/Freezer
  • Maintain cleanliness and address any spills.
  • Check for expired stock and record for disposal.
Additional Support
  • Assist with site events and activities such as event setup and decoration.
  • Continue with general duties and provide support to the Test Bakery and Sensory Team.
