Part Time: 0.6 FTE – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Fixed Term: Maternity Cover – until the end of the summer term 2026

Start Date: 23rd February 2026

St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a class teacher to join our dedicated team covering a year 1 class for three days a week alongside an experienced co‑class teacher. The successful candidate will bring their expertise and knowledge of the primary curriculum to ensure pupils enjoy a knowledge‑rich learning experience which promotes inclusion, diversity and excellence.

Join an established federation of two primary schools where shared planning and assessment support staff well‑being. Curriculum teams work across the federation to provide opportunities for collaboration, coaching and mentoring.

We welcome staff who share and support the Catholic ethos of our school. The Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff and volunteers to demonstrate this commitment in every aspect of their work. The successful candidate will need to undertake a DBS check.
