Job description

Overview

Class 2 Multidrop Driver — Location: Motherwell, ML1 5SZ. Shift times: Various shift patterns available. Pay Rate: £15.24. These roles are temp to perm. We have a mixture of start times and days; you will typically work between 10-12-hour shifts. Driving assessment (theory and practical) must be passed to work with this client.

Responsibilities

• Multidrop deliveries between customer sites and other depots
• Safely operate your vehicle in line with business standards
• In the absence of a customer forklift driver, use pallet truck and tail lift to unload pallets from trailers
• Complete relevant paperwork using a handheld scanner
• Carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, ensure the load is secured correctly and comply with VOSA

Requirements

• Must have multidrop experience
• HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements
• ADR preferred but not a necessity
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
• Multidrop delivery experience
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• A can-do attitude
• Note: To work with this client, a driving assessment (theory and practical) must be passed
