Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB

Pay rate: £18 - £44 PAYE

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Mildenhall

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode.

The successful Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB will receive:

Depending on experience:

£18 - £22 Basic

£27 - £33 Saturdays

£36 - £44 Sundays

Private healthcare

Refresher training available.

28 days holiday prorated on PAYE.

Upskilling to HGV, ADR and HIAB after satisfactory probation period.

What to expect as a Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB:

Working Monday to Friday, you will be driving Class 1 & 2 vehicles delivering and collecting industrial boilers, plant & machinery as required.

Working times are 0730hrs to 1630hrs. Overtime is available.

The ideal candidate will have experience in plant fitter duties such as preparation of tractor unit & trailers ready for MOT and replace / repair on site. 8-weekly checks etc.

This is a permanent position with immediate start available out of Mildenhall.

When you are not driving, you will be expected to help in the workshop as required.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver + HIAB you must:

Full UK Driving Licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement

Current CPC & Digicard

HIAB/Lorry Mounted Loader with Hook attachment

Forklift desirable

Experience with lorry maintenance and repairs desired.

Have no more than 6 effective penalty points.

No DG, DD or IN endorsements.
