Class 1 Multidrop Driver - Days
Location: Widnes
Shift times: Various shifts available
Hourly Rate: Rate - £15.55 Days / £18.10 Nights + increased pay for weekends & Bank Holidays

Whilst out on the road, you will be the face of the largest supermarket chain in the UK where you will get the opportunity to meet and talk to different colleagues at various stores across the country. This role is about much more than just driving it's about helping others and delivering great service.

Working on your own you will be out on the road delivering to various stores & depots, but support will always be back at the distribution centre when you need them.

You'll meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team, where everyone is welcome.

We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Drivers to join us at our site in Widnes. These roles are temp to perm for the ideal candidates. We have a mixture of start times and days available; you will typically work between 10-12-hour shifts.

Please note: To work with this client, a driving assessment (theory and practical) must be passed.

What shifts are we looking for?

Tuesday - Saturday: 14:00-22:00

Wednesday - Sunday: 14:00-22:00

Thursday - Sunday: 14:00-22:00

What you'll do on a typical shift:

• Delivering fresh produce to client sites across the Northwest and up as far as Cumbria.
• Multidrop deliveries between customer sites - typically 1-6 drops per shift.
• Trailers will be loaded by the client but will need to be unloaded at each drop, where roll cages will need to be pulled into designated areas at each depot.
• Ensure paperwork is all completed and signed off before leaving each site.
• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, ensure the load is secured correctly and compliance with VOSA.
• Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.

What you need to succeed with our client:

• Must have a multidrop experience!
• HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude
