Class 1 Driver

Location: Cullompton, Pallet Networks

Shift: Monday - Friday, Days

About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Use curtain side trailers to make multi drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers\' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
• This role is part of the referral scheme. If you refer a person to this area of the business as a HGV Driver you can earn an additional £500, paid in two instalments. *T&C\'s apply

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
