Our client is recruiting for a civil engineer and looking for someone that will work within a multi-disciplinary team with a varied portfolio of infrastructure schemes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships on a day to day basis and provide fee quotes.
• Develop detailed civil engineering designs using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare transport statements.
• Consult with various authorities.

Skills/qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
• Hold or be willing to work towards IEng or CEng qualification.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, CDM 2-15
• Experience of S38, S104 and S278 agreements
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
• A full driving licence is required.
